Allah is the deity worthy of being worshiped out of love, hope, and fear. This name encompasses all the meanings of the beautiful names and attributes of the Almighty Lord.
Ar-Rabb (The Lord) is the Master, the Owner, the Reformer, and the One Who fosters His servants by managing their affairs and bestowing favors upon them.
Ar-Rahmān (The Most Compassionate) is the One with great and immense mercy that encompasses everything.
Ar-Rahīm (The Most Merciful) is the One with great mercy.
Al-Hayy (The Ever-Living) is the One to Whom belong all meanings of perfect life that is not preceded by nothingness nor followed by doom.
Al-Qayyūm (The Self-Subsisting) is the One Who is self-sustaining, so He does not need anyone, and everything depends on Him and none can dispense with Him.
Al-Wāhid (The One) is the One Who alone possesses all perfection in His essence, attributes, and actions, and none shares any of this with Him.
Al-Ahad (The Only One) is the One Who alone possesses all perfection in His lordship, divinity, names, and attributes, and none shares any of them with Him.
Al-Awwal (The First) is the One before Whom there was nothing.
Al-Ākhir (The Last) is the One after Whom there is nothing.
Azh-Zhāhir (The Manifest) is the One above Whom there is nothing.
Al-Bātin (The Hidden) is the One beneath Whom there is nothing.
Al-Wārith (The Inheritor) is the One Who lasts after the doom of all creation and Who inherits the earth and all that is in it.
Al-Quddūs (The Holy One) is the Glorified One Who is exalted far above any defect and far above resembling any of His creation.
Al-Subbūh (The All-Glorious) is the One far exalted above deficiencies and defects and Who is extolled and glorified by all those in the heavens and the earth.
As-Salām (The Source of Perfection) is the One free from any defect or fault.
Al-Mu’min (The Bestower of Faith and Security) is the One Who confirms the truthfulness of His prophets through signs and miracles, and He is the One Who secures His servants from injustice, on account of His perfect justice.
Al-Haqq (The Truth) is the True One in terms of His being and His existence; and the One Whose names, attributes, actions, judgments, and recompense are all perfect and true.
Al-Mutakabbir (The Supreme) is the One Who is far exalted above evil, deficiency, and defects, given His perfection and majesty.
Al-‘Azhīm (The Magnificent) is the One Who possesses all attributes of perfection, glory, pride, and majesty, and Who is loved and extolled by His servants.
Al-Kabīr (The Great) is the One Who is greater than everything, and all else are inferior to Him.
Al-‘Alyy (The High) is the One Who possesses absolute highness in all aspects: His status, His power, and His essence.
Al-A‘la (The Most High) is a name that denotes the affirmation of all meanings of highness for Allah Almighty from every aspect: highness in His essence, highness in His status, and highness in His power.
Al-Muta‘āl (The Exalted) is a name that denotes the absolute exaltation of Allah in all aspects: His essence, His status, and His power.
Al-Latīf (The All-Subtle) is the One from Whom nothing is hidden, no matter how small it may be, and the One Who shows kindness and leniency to His servants and guides them to what is good for them.
Al-Hakīm (The All-Wise) is the One Who possesses perfect wisdom in His commands and legislations, and perfect judgment between His creation.
Al-Wāsi‘ (The All-Embracing) is the One to Whom belongs the most perfect and complete meaning of every attribute.
Al-‘Alīm (The All-Knowing) is the One Whose knowledge encompasses everything.
Al-Malik (The King) is the One Who possesses the attributes of majesty, subjugation, and managing of affairs, and Who owns and disposes of everything without any difficulty.
Al-Hamīd (The Praiseworthy) is a name that denotes all the praiseworthy and perfect attributes of Allah Almighty, Who deserves praise for the perfection of His essence, names, attributes, and actions.
Al-Khabīr (The All-Aware) is the One Whose knowledge encompasses the inward and hidden aspects of things, as well as their outward aspects.
Al-Majīd (The Most Glorious) is the One Who possesses the various attributes of supreme majesty and perfection.
Al-Qawiyy (The All-Powerful) is the One with complete power Who cannot be overcome and Whose predestination cannot be repelled.
Al-Matīn (The Most Firm) is the One Who possesses infinite power and ability so He never experiences any weakness or hardship.
Al-‘Azīz (The All-Mighty) is the One Who possesses the absolute might and vanquishes all others with His power, dominance, and invincibility.
Al-Qāhir (The Vanquisher) is the One to Whom all beings submit and before Whose power and will all beings stand humbly.
Al-Qādir (The Able) is the One Who possesses complete and comprehensive power, nothing can challenge Him, and none can escape His power or will.
Al-Qadīr (The Omnipotent) is the One Who possesses complete power and does not suffer any incapability or fatigue.
Al-Muqtadir (The Dominant) is the One Who possesses complete unopposed power.
Al-Jabbār (The Compeller) is the One far exalted above His creation, Who controls everything and to Whom all things are subdued and submitted. He is also the One Who supports those who seek refuge in Him.
Al-Khāliq (The Creator) is the One Who brings things into existence and invents them in an unprecedented way.
Al-Bāri’ (The Initiator) is the Creator Who created the whole creation from nothing and gave them forms after they were non-existent.
Al-Musawwir (The Supreme Fashioner) is the One Who fashioned His creation in different forms and appearances that indicate His perfect knowledge and wisdom.
Al-Muhaymin (The All-Controller) is the Guardian over His creation, their Ruler, and the Disposer of all their affairs, Who encompasses everything in His knowledge.
Al-Hafīzh (The All-Preserver) is the One Who preserves what He created; Whose knowledge encompasses all that He brought into existence; Who protects His pious servants from committing sins and ruinous acts; and Who records their deeds and the recompense for them.
Al-Walyy (The Guardian) is the One Who supports His believing servants and manages the affairs of all His creation.
Al-Mawla (The Protector) of all creation is their Master, Owner, Creator, and True Deity worthy of worship; and Al-Mawla of the believing servants is the One Who loves them, guides and supports them, and leads them to their religious and worldly interests.
An-Nasīr (The Helper) is the One Who helps and supports His believing servants.
An-Nāsir (The Supporter) is the One Who gives support and victory to whomever He wills from among His servants.
Al-Wakīl (The Trustee) is the One Who guarantees the sustenance of His creation and manages their affairs and maintains their welfare; and Who supports His pious servants and, thus, guides them to ease, grants them sufficiency, and keeps them away from difficulty.
Al-Kafīl (The Guarantor) is the One Who manages the affairs of all creation and guarantees their sustenance.
Al-Kāfi (The All-Sufficient) is the One Who fulfills all the needs of His servants and Who is sufficient for them beyond need for anyone else.
As-Samad (The Eternal Refuge) is the Perfect Lord and the Magnificent Master to Whom everyone turns, out of hope and fear.
Ar-Razzāq (The All-Provider) is the One Who guarantees His servants the sustenance that maintains their hearts and bodies.
Al-Fattāh (The Greatest Judge) is the One Who judges between His servants by His religious rulings, decrees His predestination for them, and calls them to account.
Al-Mubīn (The Evident) is the One Who is evident in His Oneness and that He has no partner, and Who clarifies the truth to His servants.
Al-Hādi (The Guide) is the One Who guides His servants to all beneficial things and leads them away from harmful ones, and Who leads whomever He wills to guidance.
Al-Hakam (The Judge) is the One to Whom belongs judgment in all things, and Who ordains what He wills and judges between His servants with the truth and justice.
Ar-Ra’ūf (The All-Kind) is the One Who is the most kind and merciful towards His creation.
Al-Wadūd (The Most Affectionate) is the One Who loves and is loved. He loves His prophets and messengers and their followers, and they love Him.
Al-Barr (The Beneficent) is the One Who bestows all kinds of blessings upon His servants.
Al-Halīm (The Forbearing) is the One Who possesses deliberation and does not hasten to punish His servants for their sins.
Al-Ghafūr (The All-Forgiving) is the One Who spares His servants the evil of their sins and does not punish them.
Al-‘Afuww (The Pardoner) is the One Who erases misdeeds and pardons sins.
At-Tawwāb (The Accepting of Repentance) is the One Who guides His servants to repentance and accepts it from them.
Al-Karīm (The Generous) is the One Who gives abundant good and welfare.
Al-Akram (The Most Generous) is the One Who gives generously, and all goodness lies in His hand and comes from Him.
Ash-Shākir (The Appreciative) is the One Who praises those who obey Him and rewards them beyond what is due to them.
Ash-Shakūr (The Most Appreciative) is the One Who appreciates even little deeds and gives immense and multiple rewards in return, and Who forgives numerous errors.
As-Samī‘ (The All-Hearing) is the One Who hears everything. He hears secret and private talk. Loud and low voices, and speaking and silence are all the same to Him - He grasps all.
Al-Basīr (The All-Seeing) is the One Whose sight encompasses everything, no matter how small or minute they may be, and He is the One Who is All-Aware of everything and All-Knowing of their hidden aspects.
Ash-Shahīd (The Ever-Witness) is the One from Whom nothing is hidden, rather He knows and witnesses everything and is Aware of its details.
Al-Raqīb (The Ever-Watchful) is the One Who watches over everything and witnesses inner thoughts and secrets, and Who knows and sees all things and no secret or private talk is hidden from Him.
Al-Qarīb (The Near) is the One Who is near His obedient servants with reward; near those who supplicate Him with the answer; and near the rest of His servants with knowledge. This does not contradict His being high above.
Al-Mujīb (The All-Responsive) is the One Who responds to supplications by answering them and to requests by fulfilling them.
Al-Muhīt (The All-Encompassing) is a name that denotes the exaltedness of Allah above His creation and that He encompasses everything in terms of knowledge, power, and subjugation.
Al-Hasīb (The Ever-Reckoner) is the One Who grants sufficiency to His believing servants who rely upon Him, and Who knows their deeds and holds them accountable for them.
A-Ghanyy (The Self-Sufficient) is the One Who is needed by all and Who does not need anyone.
Al-Wahhāb (The Bestower) is the One Who gives abundantly, and Whose generosity and bounty encompass all beings.
Al-Muqīt (The All-Nourisher) is the One Who determines the sustenance of His creation according to His knowledge, brings it to them with His power, and distributes it amongst them.
Al-Muqaddim (The Advancer) is the One Who puts things in their due places, advancing what He wills and delaying what He wills.
Al-Mu’akhkhir (The Delayer) is the One Who delays things that should be delayed, thus putting them in their proper place.
Ar-Rafīq (The Kind) is the One Who acts deliberately and gradually, and does not hasten to punish sinners.
Al-Mannān (The Bestower of Favors) is the One Who bestows great favors and gives blessings to His servants before they ask for them.
Al-Jawād (The Munificent) is the One Who gives abundantly to all creatures.
Al-Muhsin (The Superb Benevolent) is the One Who bestows all kinds of outward and inward favors upon His servants.
Ad-Dayyān (The Recompenser) is the One Who recompenses His servants according to their deeds and holds them accountable for them.
Ash-Shāfi (The Healer) is the One Who cures His servants from the illnesses of their bodies, the doubts of their hearts, and the vain desires of their selves.
As-Sayyid (The Master) is the Lord and the Owner, the One Who possesses true dominance, and to Whom all creation turns for their worldly and their Hereafter affairs.
Al-Witr (The Odd) is the One Who has no partner or equal.
Al-Hayiyy (The Modest) is the One Who is very modest. This description befits Allah Almighty and it is nothing like the modesty of people. Rather, it means abandoning what does not suit His vast mercy, perfect generosity, and great forgiveness and forbearance.
At-Tayyib (The Good) means that Allah Almighty is extolled and exalted far above all deficiencies and defects.
Al-Mu‘ti (The Giver) is the only One Who gives, and no one can withhold what He has given or give what He has withheld.
Al-Jamīl (The Beautiful) is the One Who possesses absolute beauty in His essence, names, attributes, and actions.
Al-Ilāh (The God) is the One Who possesses all attributes of perfection and majesty and Who alone is worthy of being worshiped.
Al-Rāfi‘ (The Raiser) is the One Who raises whomever He wills the way He wills, as He elevates the ranks of His pious servants in this world and in the Hereafter.
Dhul-Jalāl wa al-Ikrām (Lord of Majesty and Bounty) is the Possessor of greatness, pride, mercy, and bounty, Who deserves glorification and praise.
Ahsan al-Khāliqīn (The Best of Creators) is the Best of Determiners and the Most Skillful of Makers and Fashioners, Who has no equal in the way He creates.
