Protection of man’s life, property, and honor.
The Messengers with strength, patience, merit, wisdom, steadfastness, and diligence to whom Allah Almighty sent His revelation and commanded to convey His religion. They are Nūh (Noah), Ibrāhim (Abraham), Mūsa (Moses), ‘Īsa (Jesus), and Muhammad (peace be upon all of them).
"Nubuwwah": It is derived from "naba’", which means a piece of news, and from "nabwah" or "nubū’", which means: elevation, height.
"Mu‘jizah" (pl. Mu‘jizāt): something supernatural, what makes the contestant unable to compete when challenged. It is derived from "‘ajz", which means: inability.
Those who lived in an interval between two Prophets, such that the preceding Prophet was not sent to them, whereas they did not live up to the time of the next one.
"Rasūl": carrier of a message to deliver. Other meanings: the one sent to another.
"Huda": gently guiding and demonstrating the path to the required destination. Opposite: misguidance.
"Ittibā‘": following, imitating. Original meaning: tracing the steps of walker and walking after him.
"Isrā": walking at night, or walking most of the night, and not just part of it.
"Walāyah": closeness, love. Opposite: hatred, remoteness.
Tījāniyyah
Inspiration that Allah casts into a person's heart to urge him to either do something or avoid it.
Categorical proof that provides knowledge and evidence that reveals the truth.
Clarifying the speech to the listener and revealing its meaning, whether with words or actions.
An extraordinary event that Allah causes to happen at the hands of a Prophet before his prophetic mission starts.
The signs with which Allah, the Exalted, supported His Messengers to prove their truthfulness.
Any thoughts and opinions that one feels in his heart.
