"Mahārim" (sing. mahram): What has been forbidden by Allah and cannot be made lawful. A person who is "mahram" to someone is non-marriageable to him or her.
"Mahram": prohibition, prohibited thing, forbidden. Opposite: lawful. Original meaning of "tahrīm": banning.
Tījāniyyah
"Musāharah": relationship by marriage. "Ashār" are the relatives of a woman’s husband and a man’s wife. It is derived from "sahr", which means: closeness.
A relationship between two persons through a close or distant birth.
The wife's daughter, down to all levels, from a previous marriage, whether she is related to the wife by birth (her biological daughter) or by breastfeeding.
In the context of inheritance, "ulu al-arhām" means distant blood relatives; i.e. every male or female relative who does not inherit a share from the estate of the deceased, neither an allotted share ("fard") nor a remaining share after the distribution of the allotted shares ("ta‘seeb").
A female sibling born of one's parents or either of them.
Outsiders who are not relatives.
The woman's dowry when getting married or in similar cases.
A woman who shares one's father's origin.
A limited interval of time that has an ultimate end.
