Bosanski Nedžd je prostrana regija koja se nalazi u središnjem dijelu Saudijske Arabije, a obuhvata Rijad i okolna mjesta.
1- أَوْسَعُ أقاليم شبه الجزيرة وَأَكْثَرُهَا صَحَارَى وَفِجَاجًا وَرِمَالًا.
2- كانت موطناً تاريخياً لمملكة كندة وبني حنيفة وبني أسد وبني تميم وغطفان ومملكة تنوخ.
3- منه انطلقت دعوة الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب الإصلاحية.
4- تطلق نجد أيضاً على صحراء العراق لمن كان بالمدينة ونواحيها، وقد تطلق أيضاً على بادية اليمن.
5- يستدل بعض أهل البدع بحديث (نجد قرن الشيطان) على أنها منطقة نجد بالسعودية، وهذا باطل؛ لأن المقصود في الحديث هو نجد العراق؛ لكثرة الفتن فيه.
