Bosanski Homs je grad u središnjem dijelu Sirije, u blizini libanske granice.
1- مَدِينَةٌ كبيرةٌ لها تاريخ مشهور، وكانت تسمى في عهد الرومان إميسا.
2- أسَّسَها السَّلوقِيون في القرن الرابع قبل الميلاد.
3- فتحها المُسلمون بقيادةِ أبي عبيد عامر بن الجراح رضي الله عنه، وذلك سنة 15.
4- بها توفي بعض الصحابة كعِياضِ بن غنم وغيره، وتَخَرَّج فيها علماء وأدباء عبر الزمن.
5- تعرضت لغزو المغول ووقعت فيها معارك معهم، ثم دخلت تحت حُكمِ الدولة العُثمانيةُ.
6- تشتمل على بعض المزارات والمشاهد لبعض الصالحين، وَهذا مُحَرَّمٌ في دِينِ الإسلامِ.
English 1. A large city with a famous history. It was called Emesa under the Romans.
2. The Seleucids founded the city in the fourth century BC.
3. Some Companions, such as ‘Iyaadh ibn Ghanm and others, died there and some scholars and writers were raised there.
4. Muslims conquered Homs under the leadership of Abu ‘Ubaydah ‘Aamir ibn al-Jarraah, may Allah be pleased with him.
5. The Mongols invaded Homs and fought battles there. It was later ruled by the Ottomans.
6. There are some shrines and mausoleums of pious people there, and this is something forbidden in Islam.
Bosanski 1. Homs je veliki grad, sa bogatom historijom. U vrijeme Rimljana zvao se Emesa.
2. Osnovali su ga Seleukidi, u 4. stoljeću prije Isaovog rođenja.
3. U tom gradu umrli su mnogi ashabi, poput Ijada b. Ganema i drugih, a iz njega su potekli mnogi učenjaci i književnici.
4. Osvojili su ga muslimani pod komandom Ebu Ubejda Amira b. Džerraha, radijallahu anhu.
5. Homs je bio izložen napadima Mongola i u njemu su se odigrale mnoge bitke protiv njih. Kasnije je potpao pod vlast Osmanlija.
6. U Homsu se nalaze mauzoleji i svetišta nekih dobrih ljudi. U islamu je zabranjeno graditi i posjećivati mauzoleje i svetišta.
