English Awtaas is a plain located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia between the Hunayn Valley and Taa’if.
Bosanski Evtas je ravnica koja se nalazi u Saudijskoj Arabiji, između doline Hunejn i Taifa.
1- مَوْضِعٌ مَشْهورٌ يَمُرُّ بِهِ حُجَّاجُ العِراقِ قَدِيمًا.
2- موضعُ نشأةِ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
3- مكان اجتماع قبيلتا هوازن وثقيف وتدريب خيولهم لما أجمعوا على حرب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
4- وقوع سرية أوطاس في السنة الثامنة للهجرة والتي كانت بقيادة أبي عامر الأشعري بعد غزوة حنين.
5- يحدث خلط أحياناً في كتب السيرة بين كل من وادي حنين ووادي أوطاس وذلك نظراً لتقاربها الجغرافي.
English 1. A well-known location and a landmark on the historical Iraqi route to Hajj.
2. The place where the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, grew up.
3. Where the tribes of Hawaazin and Thaqeef gathered and trained their horses in preparation for their war against the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him.
4. Awtaas was the battlefield for the Battle of Awtaas (8 AH), which took place after the Battle of Hunayn, fought under the command of Abu 'Aamir al-Ash'ari.
5. The books relating the Prophet's biography sometimes confuse the Hunayn Valley with the Awtaas Valley due to their geographical proximity.

2. U Evtasu je odrastao i odgajao se Poslanik, sallallahu alejhi ve sellem.
3. U Evtasu su se ulogorila plemena Hevazin i Sekif, kada su se ujedinili u borbi protiv Poslanika, sallallahu alejhi ve sellem.
4. Na tom mjestu, osme godine po Hidžri, nakon Bitke na Hunejnu, izvidnica pod zapovjedništvom Ebu Amira Eš’arija sukobila se sa mušricima.
5. U knjigama sire nekada se miješaju dolina Hunejn i dolina Evtas jer se nalaze u neposrednoj blizini.
