اسْمُ بِئْرٍ فِي شَمالِ المَمْلَكَةِ العربيةِ السُعودِيَّةِ بَيْنَ المَدِينَةِ وَتَبوكَ.

English The name of a well in the north of Saudi Arabia between Madinah and Tabook.

Bosanski Ress je naziv bunara koji se nalazi između Medine i Tebuka, na sjeveru Saudijske Arabije.

1- أَصْحَابُ الرَّسِّ قومٌ أَرْسَلَ اللهُ إِلَيْهِمَا نبيًّا فَكَذَّبُوهُ، وَسُمُّوا أَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ لِأَنَّهُمْ رَسُّوا وَدَفَنُوا نَبِيَّهُمْ فِي البِئْرِ، قيلَ: هي من قُرى ثمود، في شمالِ الجزيرةِ، وقيلَ: قريةٌ باليمامةِ، في وسطِ الجزيرةِ، وقيل: أصحاب الرَّسِّ هم أصحابُ الأُخدود في نجران جنوبَ الجزيرةِ. 2- وَرَدَ تَسْمِيَّةُ الرَّسِّ فِي القُرْآنِ الكَرِيمِ فِي سُورَةِ الفُرْقانِ وَسُورةِ ق. 3- أَهْلَكَ اللهُ تَعَالَى أَصْحَابَ الرَّسِّ بِالخَسْفِ فَانْهَارَتْ بِئْرُهُمْ. 4- هُنَاكَ مَدِينَةٌ غَرْبَ القَصِيمِ تُسَمَّى: الرَّسُّ، يَظُنُّ الكَثِيرُ أَنَّهُ الرَّسُّ المَقْصودُ فِي القُرْآنِ، وَهَذَا بَعِيدٌ كُلَّ البُعْدِ، وَسببه الاشتراكُ في التَّسْمِيَّةِ، لِأَنَّ بِنَاءَ هَذَا المَكانِ كَانَ حَدِيثاً.

English 1. The people of Ar-Rass and the people of Al-Aykah are the two communities to whom Allah sent Prophet Shu‘ayb, but they disbelieved in him. They were called the people of Ar-Rass because they killed and buried their prophet in the well. 2. Ar-Rass is mentioned in the Qur’an in Surat al-Furqaan and Surat Qaaf. 3. Allah destroyed the people of Ar-Rass by making the earth swallow them, and their well collapsed. 4. There is a city west of Qaseem called Ar-Rass which many people think is the place mentioned in the Qur’an, but this is totally incorrect. Their misunderstanding is based on the name only, because this city was built recently.

Bosanski 1. Stanovnici Ressa i Ejke dva su naroda kojima je Allah poslao Šuajba, alejhis-selam, pa su oni porekli njegovu poslanicu. Nazvani su Ress jer su ukopali (ar. ressu) svoga vjerovjesnika u bunar. 2. Naziv Ress spominje se u kur’anskim surama El-Furkan i Kaf. 3. Uzvišeni Allah uništio je stanovnike Ressa utjerivanjem u zemlju, pa se i njihov bunar urušio. 4. Na zapadu Kasima postoji grad koji se naziva Ress i mnogi smatraju da je to Ress koji se spominje u Kur’anu, što je daleko od istine, jer ovaj grad sagrađen je u skorije vrijeme i zajednički im je samo naziv.

تقَعُ فِي جَزِيرَةِ العَرَبِ شَمَالَ الحِجَازِ.

English It lies in the Arabian Peninsula north of Hijaaz.

Bosanski Ress se nalazi na Arabijskom poluotoku, na sjeveru Hidžaza.

Description of current location

تقَعُ بِالقُرْبِ مِنْ دِيَارِ ثَمودَ بِمَدِينَةِ العُلا بَيْنَ المَدِينَةِ وَتَبُوكَ.

English It is located near Diyaar Thamud in Al-‘Ula city between Madinah and Tabook.

Bosanski Nalazi se u blizini nastambi naroda Semud, u gradu Ula, između Medine i Tebuka.

تحُدُّهُ المَدِينَةُ المنورةُ جنوباً، وَتَبوك شَمالاً.
