Bosanski Ejla je drevni grad na obali Crvenog mora, u pokrajini Akaba, na jugu Jordana.
1- مدينة قديمة، وهي أول مدينة إسلامية خارج جزيرة العرب.
2- كانت محصنة بجدران ولها أربعة أبواب باب مصر وباب دمشق وباب الحجاز وباب البحر.
3- قيل هي القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر المذكورة في القرآن حيث كان اليهود الذين اعتدوا في السبت.
4- حين انتهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى تبوك أتاه يحنة بن رؤبة صاحب أيلة فصالح رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأعطاه الجزية.
English 1. An ancient city that was the first Islamic city established outside the Arabian Peninsula.
2. It was fortified with walls and had four gates, one on each side: the Egypt Gate, the Damascus Gate, the Hijaaz Gate and the Sea Gate.
3. It was said that Aylah is the city near the sea mentioned in the Qur’an where the Jews desecrated the Sabbath.
4. When the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, reached Tabook, Yahnah ibn Ru’bah, the ruler of Aylah, came to him to make peace and pay the Jizyah (per-capita tax).
Bosanski 1. Ovaj drevni grad bio je prvi islamski grad osnovan van granica Arabijskog poluotoka.
2. Bio je zaštićen zidinama, i imao je četiri ulaza: Ulaz Misr (Egipat), Damask, Hidžaz i Bahr (more).
3. Kaže se da je to grad pored mora koji se spominje u Kur’anu, u kazivanju o jevrejima koji su prekršili propise o suboti.
4. Kada je Poslanik, sallallahu alejhi ve sellem, stigao u Tebuk, došao mu je Juhanna b. Ru’ba, vladar Ejle, i s njim sklopio mirovni sporazum uz uvjet da Juhanna i njegov narod plaćaju muslimanima porez – džizju.
